BRB: New Comp on its Way!

Sadly the life of my computer has come to an end...conveniently the same weekend as tax free weekend. So I bravely took the plunge and order the best of the best (or so I've heard!): Mac Book Pro. Should be arriving this week. Until then...Here are a few pictures from the weekend to keep you entertained until next time.

Basil Hummus:

  • 1, 15oz can chickpeas, drained & rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 Tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 clove garlic
  • S&P
  • 1 cup fresh basil

Spelt Berry Salad w/ Carrot, Squash & Dried Cranberries


Raw Squash Salad w/ Creamy White Bean Sauce, Cuc APP, Homemade Cracked Pepper Bread & Spelt Berry Salad




Asian Cabbage & Tofu: Red Curry Paste = AMAZING!

  2. I personally tasted most of this. The spelt salad had a delightful Moroccan flavor. The cukes with pesto--fresh, pure summertime. And the squash--well I don't know how many times I've had some boring little squashes with no new inspiration. So easy, so delicious.

  3. Meant to add: all three of you look fab-u-loso! BBG, you especially. Love the hair, the outfit, the shoes, the glow. Maybe I need to start doing bikram yoga...no need to go to a studio; I could just step out onto my deck and do the warrior pose in 105-degree "comfort"...
